Do you use CISS or cartridges for printing? Try to put old cartridges with Chips inside. Printer needs chips to be installed before update.

It's an old printer model. You need to update it in NORMAL MODE. Don't put it in firmware update mode.

No we don't have plans for adding this models. There is no schedule in adding new firmwares, as it depends on each model and epson updates. But we trying to add chipless firmwares for all new models as soon as possible. -

It's not needed to be updated when it's already installed on printer. But we update it when there is new firmware from Epson which blocks ours. Download the latest firmware from our website and try it.

You don't need to reinstall our firmware when you ciss is empty. You only need to turn off epson updates to prevent it from updating. As for buying CISS, you don't need to buy it first. You can use use our firmware with cartridges too. Printer will show you 100% ink level all the time and you won't be needed to reset chip on cartridges only keep it full. But of course the full potential of our chipless solution is with CISS.

Hello Dexter, with our chipless solution you won't need to reset your CISS. After installing our firmware your printer will always show that it has FULL ink inside. You don't need to use chips in CISS and you don't need to reset it, only check ink level to avoid printing with no inks.

You can freely use any USB port. You also can connect printer to other PC without any problem.

Hello Alf7, thank you for contacting us. Our chipless firmware is based on the Epson one, and cannot damage you printer. The problem may be in CISS or Inks you use. You can try to print on OEM cartridges for you printer to check if the problem with ink or printer.
