Epson p800 not recognizing cartridges

Hello all, I have been using the inkchip firmware for many of my printers and have had no problems, but a recent p800 of mine was unable to recognize the cartridges. I re installed the firmware and tried again with the recovery code but still no luck. Does anybody have any advice?
