I have WF-3720 with custom firmware (from your site) but not activated yet.

The printer has no genuine cartridges, just refillable chipless.

Do I need genuine cartridges installed to use activation code?

Do you know why they sale 5 keys, does one expire or is it for 5 different computers.

One key for one printer. Our keys have no expiration date.
