I've tried both. In normal mode, it goes to 99% and then says the firmware cannot be updated. In update mode, it gives me the fatal error I showed in the video.

I tried installing the firmware in recovery mode. It still doesn't work. I attached a video of what the printer flashes before turning off. Printer Error.mp4

Order #: 159558 I am also having issues with the firmware for my Epson WF-2830. It stops at 99% and then gives me the same error message as Eileen. I have tried multiple times and nothing is working.
