Epson-xp 6000 Firmware program Not Responding

Epson-xp 6000 Firmware program gets to step 5 and once i click start it freezes and the program goes into  Not Responding until closed.
I should have tried the apps before purchasing the key... please help.

You should install the chipless firmware in NORMAL mode instead of UPDATE mode.
