I should have said I have an Epson WF2830. I notice on my printer it says "A newfirmware is released; Update the firmware from setup menu. But I have stopped any new firmware in my setup

I bought the Inkchip firmware for Epson WF2830 I have tried to install it for the last 2 days. It stalls ar around 71% I think it might be because I have updated Epson firmware which stops the Inkchip firmware from installing I have changed cables, restarted, reinstalled printer, you name it I have given it a go, Closed anti virus, searched the internet for ideas. I am really frustrated is there anyone out there that might have a solution
