Premium presentation matte prints black incorrectly

After installing the Inkchip firmware on my WF-2860, prints with black looked great on premium presentation matte paper settings. Then the other day, black started printing a purplish color. Watching it with the lid open, it's only using the cyan and magenta inks to make the black. I had to change to plain paper, highest quality setting to get decent black but it's not as rich of a black as it was before on the premium matte setting. I have completely removed and reinstalled the printer driver but it did not help. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
