Is there a trial mode?

Hello,

I recently bought Epson XP-6000 printer. I want to get chipless firmware to use my own refill inks. I have installed firmware following steps but not sure if the firmware is correct or working. I have not yet bought the activation key since I am not sure it is compatible. How do I check that the firmware is installed and will work to report 100% ink levels? Is there a trial mode or only after activation?

We don't have a trial mode. You can follow the link and download firmware for your printer model:

1) Download the firmware.

2) Go under the instruction (which one you can download from our webpage as well) and if in activation window you will be requested to enter the key number, that will mean that the firmware was installed successfully and all you have to do is buy an activation key through our website.
