Printer not showing in dialogue box to set up activation.

My printer is not showing up in the activation box to register. What do i need to do?

Hi!

This might be because there are too many printers on devices and printers. That’s what might help you: close the Activator Software, turn off your printer, go to PC and remove all printers that may be in "Devices and Printers", then turn your printer on and it will install again, then open the launcher software again and it might appear normally.

That worked now it’s saying inkchip.net activation not responding

Make sure that your operating system is lower than Windows 11.

Please,try activation on the another computer.

Hi.  The INKCHIP.net_Firmware_XP440 don´t reconized my printer. Genuine ink cartridges are not being recognized automatically. Should I be able to update the firmware even without the cartridges installed? Thank you.

Is your printer connected with a USB cable? Which is your printer model?

My printer is XP-440. I used USB Cable. I believe there is a bad contact on the cartridge reading board. Can I activate without a genuine cartridge installed? Can I activate without any cartridge? I had to change the printer board and the printhead as well. 

I bought a new cartridge holder/contact but haven't installed it yet.(photo)

You need to have any cartridges installed to activate the key.
