Epson xp 4100 firmware won't install

I have tried 10 times and the firmware seems like its installing until the printer restarts.. then it says my ink cartridges are not in properly even if I take them out. Then says it couldn't be installed... about ready to give up.. what a waste of money

You should convince that you install the chipless firmware in NORMAL mode instead of UPDATE mode.
