I'm also getting an invalid activation code error for any of the 3 codes I just purchased.   After some fiddling, I can connect to the print and get the stats confirming I'm at 100%, but the activation code is not working.  The fiddling was necessary as the program appeared to be stuck/frozen/non-responsive, so it took a number of reboots and printer restarts.

For what it is worth, I re-installed the Visual C++ redistributal, and simply waited for the initiation of WIC to fail, restarted the printer, and everything then worked.
