Brande new Epson WF-C5710 not able to accept prepared firmware

Hello:

Just downloaded the InkChip firmware and proceeded according to the instruction manual. It goes until 100% and informs the new firmware is uploaded.

The printer gets frozen with all the leds blinking (including Error and Data indicators). All buttons are died. The only condition to release the printer is removing the power cable from the outlet.

Please, inform what went wrong.
