Activation program not responding

I have performed the firmware update, but when using the activation program it continues to go into "not responding" when I attempt to click activate online (in order to input my code I purchased) or anything else except the language buttons. Nothing I have attempted has gotten the activation program to do anything but stop responding.

I am running Windows 10.

I have a WF-7720, I updated in firmware upload mode (which was successful), the printer is not recognized by the firmware installation program otherwise.

I have downloaded and attempted to do the activation with the application from the provided link, the application performs and update and closes. Upon re-opening the program then checks for additional updates, confirms it is the latest version and then clicking any button causes it to go into "not responding" state.

Same exact thing is happening to me.  I like how they want you to send them a screen shot of the "error" ... there is no error .. the activation program just does nothing.

I wish I could explain why, but tonight the program works. I have not restarted the computer, or the printer since Sunday, and yet now the program does not freeze and I was able to activate the firmware successfully.

i got a p800 and i bought the key but when i get to activate i get an error before the activation app opens need help

I had the same thing happen to me and wasted 2 keys, then i decided to follow directions! all I had to do was restart my pc after installing everything. the next key worked fine.

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a key from inkchip.net to activate the chipless feature on my Epson printer. However, when I tried to run the activator, the program froze and eventually displayed an error message that said "Read file -1". I have already installed the firmware recommended by inkchip.net, but the activator still doesn't work.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve it? I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on how to activate the chipless feature on my printer.

I Experience the same case,  when click " activate online " then the notification show message " Please wait until update finished "  after update finished , the second time i click the " activate online " the program not responding

after i close and run the program again,  and click activate online ,  then it freeze not responding

my printer epson WF-5790

the condition of my printer still brand new, the cartridge slot still empty, I have not install the original cartridge nor the chipless cartridge.

I have an Epson XP15000, I have successfully installed the firmware, however when trying to activate the system just clocks and states program is not responding.

I have re-downloaded the activation tool several times with the same issue. I am getting very frustrated as this firmware was not free.

I have an Epson xp-4100 and Windows 10.    Several years ago I successfully changed the FW with chipset.  The FW was mistakenly updated and the printer now only accepts Epson cartridges.  I could not use my old recovery code, so I am trying to start from the beginning and have purchased a new activation code.

After I update the FW, the printer says         FW Update Mode       Finished!  The printer does not shut down.  The power button light flashes.  

At this point,  The activation tool ( it opens in gibberish text and finally downloads, and then  I can get english)  will not recognize the printer.  I must unplug the power to shut down the printer.  When I plug it back in, the activation tool recognizes the printer, but I get the message   Activation Code Cannot be recognize

Hello I have a XP-4105. When I try the activation it pops up a window and it starts to download and then I get a error message in gibberish and it makes you click ok then it just shuts down.
