Hey all, downloaded the WIC tool and activation key to reset the waste ink tank on Epson ET-4700. Run the program and it says "Program not Responding"

Any thought on making this run?  This is a business printer and we are on hold getting orders out until it's fixed.

Thanks.

Hello!

Make sure you used a usb cable when installing the firmware and have a stable internet, are you?

Go to the menu devices and printers and check if the computer sees the connection to the printer.

I'm using the same USB cable that was connected for printing, internet is good.

ET-4700 comes up in the list of printers for the program, so I'm pretty sure it's seeing the printer.

I tried another computer and that had the same problem. The program just doesn't seem to want to run

We may be buying a new printer because we need to get work done.

Thanks for the input

Hi I have the same problem...first key didn't work. Down loaded Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages x86 and x64. Bought another key and tried it again still didn't work, keeps saying ( not Responding) , feel like a waste of my time and money.

Hello!

You received instructions and a link to install Microsoft Visual C++ x64 and x86 2017-2022 packages in an email with the WIC reset key. This is a prerequisite for the WIC reset utility to work correctly. You must install them before running the utility and before using the WIC reset key, otherwise the key may be corrupted.
