Activation Code Key Not Working

I received the activation code key in my email. When I paste in in the activation code key box, it gives an error message. "Invalid activation code". I've removed all spaces. What can I do to fix this. I just paid $31.50 for this firmware that is not working!

Make sure that you have installed Microsoft C++ packages as it was written in the instruction(64x and 86x).
