Hola, descargue el firmware desde la Página y actualice La Epson xp 2101 , pero cuando intento colocar el número código de activación me dice que "read Failed"

Hello, I recently bought Epson XP-6000 printer. I want to get chipless firmware to use my own refill inks. I have installed firmware following steps but not sure if the firmware is correct or working. I have not yet bought the activation key since I am not sure it is compatible. How do I check that the firmware is installed and will work to report 100% ink levels? Is there a trial mode or only after activation?
